Fort Worth Man Sentenced to 25 Years for Aggravated Kidnapping in Christmas Eve Bus Station Attack

Isaac Sanchez

Isaac Sanchez, 29, has been sentenced to 25 years in prison after pleading guilty to Aggravated Kidnapping in a Tarrant County courtroom.

The charges stem from a violent attack on December 24, 2021, when Sanchez assaulted a woman at a Fort Worth bus station. He forced the woman into a bathroom, strangled her, and attempted to remove her clothing. During the assault, the victim reportedly lost her ability to breathe and her vision became blurry. Despite the severity of the attack, she managed to fight back until Sanchez fled the scene.

Sanchez was arrested nearby shortly after the incident. The Fort Worth Police Department conducted the investigation.

The case was prosecuted by Melinda Hogan and Darren De La Cruz. DA Investigator Dara DeWall assisted with the case.
