On Sunday, July 27, 2025, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Dallas police responded to a call in the 6200 block of Military Parkway in the Parkdale area.
Upon arrival, officers found an unresponsive individual at the scene. Dallas Fire-Rescue responded, but the victim was pronounced deceased. The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will work to confirm the identity of the victim.
Following the initial investigation, 43-year-old Rafael Baez Yanez was arrested and charged with Murder in connection to the incident. His bond was set at $1 million. He is also an illegal alien so ICE requested a hold.
The investigation remains ongoing and is documented under case number 106752-2025.
