GRAPEVINE, TX – The Grapevine Police Department announced Friday afternoon that all southbound lanes of North State Highway 121 will be closed for an extended period due to a commercial vehicle crash that damaged a bridge. Traffic is being diverted to Texan Trail to allow TXDOT to assess the structural damage.
The crash, which occurred on Friday morning, involved two commercial vehicles. One of the vehicles went over the bridge wall after the collision. Both drivers were transported to the hospital with possible serious injuries.
The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDOT) has closed the affected portion of the roadway.
