EULESS, Texas – Euless police are investigating a deadly shooting that left one man dead and two others injured early Monday morning.
Around 2 a.m. on September 1, officers responded to reports of gunfire in the 1500 block of W. Euless Boulevard (Marina's Restaurant and Club). When officers arrived, they found a 31-year-old man in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to a hospital by Euless Fire Department personnel, where he was later pronounced dead. He was identified as Kafo Setaleki Tuha of Bedford. Tuha was a graudate of Bell High School where he played football and later at Houston Christian University.
Detectives learned the shooting followed a fight in the parking lot involving several individuals from different groups. Two other adults were injured during the altercation and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The suspected shooter fled the scene before officers arrived. The incident remains under active investigation, and police have not released additional details.
UPDATE: On September 5th, Euless Police officers with assistance from the Fort Worth Police Department, made an arrest in relation to this homicide. The suspect arrested has not been identified.
