ARLINGTON, Texas — Just before 11 p.m. on Saturday, September 20, Arlington police officers responded to reports of loud music and possible underage drinking at an event venue in the 2800 block of Galleria Drive.
As officers arrived, they heard gunshots from a nearby parking lot. When they reached the area, they found a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a hospital with serious injuries but is expected to survive.
Investigators believe the teen had been attending the party at the venue before the shooting. Detectives are working to determine the circumstances that led to the gunfire.
