HALTOM CITY, TX – Kenneth Joseph Dalhaus, 46, has been sentenced to 40 years in prison after a jury found him guilty of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
The attack occurred on October 3, 2024, at a home in Haltom City, where Dalhaus stabbed a relative in the face and injured another relative who tried to intervene. A child in the home captured the assault on video.
The jury was informed that Dalhaus is a habitual offender with prior assault convictions. The Haltom City Police Department responded to the scene, made the arrest, and led the investigation. Prosecutors David Tamez and Anthony Salinas handled the case.
