MESQUITE, TX – Police are searching for 42-year-old Christopher Whitt in connection with the fatal shooting of Keisha Hillard, who was found dead inside her home Sunday afternoon.
At approximately 4:18 p.m. on October 12, 2025, Mesquite Police officers responded to a welfare check in the 2000 block of Avis Circle after family members expressed concern for Hillard. Officers forced entry into the residence and discovered Hillard deceased from a gunshot wound.
Detectives later identified Whitt, Hillard’s longtime partner and the father of their children, as the suspect in the case.
