DALLAS, TX – Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting that occurred Tuesday night in West Dallas.
At approximately 9:50 p.m. on October 14, officers responded to a call in the 2300 block of Topeka Drive near Sylvan Avenue and West Commerce Street. Authorities determined that 34-year-old Joseph Jefferies had been shot at the scene.
Dallas Fire Rescue transported Jefferies to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
