Suspect Arrested After Stabbing in Richland Hills Leaves Woman Injured

Richland Hills Police arrested a 25-year-old Fort Worth woman Thursday after responding to a stabbing that left one victim injured on Baker Boulevard.

Around 2:16 p.m. on October 16, 2025, officers were dispatched to the 6600 block of Baker Boulevard following a 911 call reporting a stabbing. While police were on the way, dispatchers received word that the suspect had fled the scene.

When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old woman from Blue Mound suffering from multiple stab wounds. Paramedics with the Richland Hills Fire Department and Fort Worth EMS provided medical treatment at the scene before transporting her to a local hospital. Her injuries were not life-threatening, and she is expected to make a full recovery.

Investigators determined that the suspect and victim knew each other, and no additional victims or suspects were involved. Using nearby automatic license plate reader (ALPR) systems, police quickly located the suspect’s vehicle. Officers stopped the vehicle a short time later and took the suspect into custody without incident.

The suspect was transported to the Joint Detention Center in North Richland Hills, where she faces a charge of Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her name will be released after she is formally arraigned.

“This appears to be an isolated incident,” the Richland Hills Police Department said in a statement. “There is no ongoing threat to the community.”

Police thanked the Haltom City and Fort Worth Police Departments for their rapid assistance, which helped lead to the suspect’s swift arrest.
