On October 18, 2025, around 7:25 p.m., Irving Police officers responded to a domestic disturbance in progress at the Villas at Beaver Creek Apartments in the 800 block of N. Meadow Creek Drive in Las Colinas. Dispatch advised officers that the reporting party's boyfriend him him in the arm, head and was stabbed twice in the head.
Upon arrival, the victim, 30-year-old Fernando Nahuel Soraire, met with the officers and reported that during an argument, his boyfriend, 29-year-old Osmar Ochosy Romero-Sarrion, punched him several times in the arm and head, then grabbed a kitchen knife and pressed it against his neck while threatening to kill him.
The victim told officers that Romero-Sarrion said in Spanish, “quedate tranquilo que yo te voy a matar, que es mejor que te vayas de acá,” which translates to “remain calm, I will kill you, it’s best that you leave.” The handle of the knife reportedly broke off while being pressed against his neck.
Soraire sustained a small laceration on the left side of his neck and red marks on the back of his head. Officers recovered the broken knife in the kitchen.
Romero-Sarrion denied the allegations, but based on evidence and witness statements, he was arrested and charged with Domestic Violence Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon.
