GAINESVILLE, TX – On Thursday, November 13, at 5:29 p.m., Gainesville Police responded to a panic alarm at Woodforest Bank inside Walmart, 1800 Lawrence St., confirming a robbery had taken place.
According to authorities, a white male with a beard handed a teller a note and took an undisclosed amount of money before fleeing the scene in a white Ford F150 headed toward Highway 82. No injuries were reported.
