BEDFORD, TX - Bedford Police officers arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with the robbery at the Bank of America branch on Central Drive Friday afternoon. The suspect entered the bank around 1:30, handed a teller a note demanding cash and claimed he had a weapon. The teller complied, and the man left the scene on a bicycle.
Working with the FBI, investigators quickly identified the suspect, who is from Waco and had been staying in Euless. Officers found him within a few hours and took him into custody without incident. He is expected to be transferred to the Tarrant County Jail for arraignment. His name will be released after that process is completed.
Bedford Police thanked their federal partners for helping bring the case to a quick resolution. The investigation remains active.
