Southeast Dallas Shooting Leaves One Dead; No Suspect Identified Yet

UPDATE: On November 17, 2025, Dallas Police arrested 21-year-old Matthew Saldana in connection with this offense.

Saldana was taken to Dallas County Jail and was charged with Murder.

Late Saturday night, November 15, 2025, Dallas Police responded to a shooting in the 6300 block of Alcorn Avenue in southeast Dallas. Upon arrival, officers found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the 49-year-old man to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The suspect remains unidentified, and the investigation is ongoing.
