Wayzo Saint Moore

Earlier this week, The Colony Police Department apprehended 27-year-old Wayzo Saint Moore of Plano following a high-speed pursuit that began in The Colony and ended in Lewisville. Officers were alerted to Moore after a stolen vehicle notification from the Flock automated license plate recognition (ALPR) system.

During the pursuit, law enforcement recovered a firearm believed to have been discarded by the suspect. Moore now faces multiple felony charges, including Evading Arrest/Detention with a Vehicle, Unlawful Possession of a Firearm by a Felon, and Unauthorized Use of a Vehicle. Authorities also noted that Moore had several outstanding felony warrants from the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.

The Colony Police Department emphasized the importance of auto theft prevention, offering the following tips: always lock doors, never leave vehicles running unattended, remove valuables and spare keys, consider anti-theft devices or tracking systems, and report suspicious activity immediately.

Police credited the successful apprehension to swift coordination between The Colony and Lewisville police departments, reinforcing the role of proactive policing in keeping the community safe. The case remains under active investigation.
