MCKINNEY, TX – On Sunday, December 28, 2025, McKinney Police responded to a welfare check at a residence in the 5300 block of Dunster Drive and discovered a horrifying scene. Officers located two adult homicide victims inside the home: 73-year-old Leonard Ragan and 72-year-old Jackie Ragan.
While securing the residence, officers encountered 34-year-old Bryce Ragan armed with a firearm in a bedroom. Two officers discharged their weapons, striking Bryce multiple times. Emergency responders transported him to a local hospital, where he is in stable condition. No officers were injured during the incident.
