IRVING, TX – Residents can now dispose of their fresh-cut Christmas trees during Irving’s annual Christmas Tree Roundup, running from December 26, 2025, through January 11, 2026.
Trees can be dropped off at any of the following city locations:
-
Cottonwood Creek Park: 4051 N. Story Road
-
Hunter Ferrell Landfill: 110 E. Hunter Ferrell Road (7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday-Saturday; closed on city holidays)
-
Las Colinas Service Center: 5964 Riverside Drive (southern section of the parking lot)
-
Southwest Park: 2800 W. Shady Grove Road
Alternatively, residents may place trees at the curb for weekly brush and bulky waste pickup. Trees collected this way, however, cannot be recycled or mulched.
To ensure proper processing, residents must remove all decorations, lights, tinsel, nails, ornaments, tree stands, and plastic coverings before disposal.
Trees collected at drop-off sites will be mulched, and mulch will be available for a nominal fee at the Hunter Ferrell Landfill.
For more information about the Christmas Tree Roundup or other recycling programs, residents can visit IrvingTX.gov/SWS or call 972-721-2232.
