DALLAS, TX – The Dallas Police Department announced the termination of two employees following disciplinary hearings conducted by Chief Comeaux.
Police Officer James Gordon (#10858), assigned to the Support Division, was terminated for violating departmental policies. Gordon failed to complete a required random drug test and left his assigned duty station without proper authorization. He had been with the department since August 2014.
Public Service Officer Casandra Jackson (#104084), of the South Central Division, was terminated for failing to report to work following an approved leave of absence. Jackson had been employed with the department since June 2005.
