FORT WORTH, Texas - A motorcyclist was killed in a late-night crash Friday, February 20, 2026, on Interstate 30 in Fort Worth.
At approximately 11:15 p.m., Fort Worth Fire/EMS and police responded to a major accident on westbound I-30 near Forest Park Boulevard.
When emergency responders arrived, they located an overturned vehicle on the westbound side of the highway and a motorcyclist lying on the eastbound lanes.
Firefighters worked to extricate one person trapped inside the overturned vehicle. Meanwhile, paramedics began CPR on the motorcyclist, but the injuries proved fatal. The motorcyclist was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Multiple lanes of I-30 were shut down for several hours while Fort Worth police conducted an investigation into the crash.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation, and authorities have not released additional details.
