KILLEEN, Texas — A man wanted in connection with a 2024 murder in Killeen has been arrested in Ohio, according to the Killeen Police Department.
Detectives with the department’s Criminal Investigation Division identified 20 year old Tion Amahd Green as the suspect in the killing of 22-year-old Dirkshawn Bryan Jr.
Officers responded around 12:39 a.m. on Sept. 22, 2024, to a report of shots fired in the 2200 block of Wheeler Avenue. When officers arrived, they found Bryan in the roadway suffering from gunshot wounds.
Officers began life saving measures until paramedics arrived, but Bryan later died from his injuries.
Following the investigation, detectives identified Green as the suspect and presented the case to the Bell County District Attorney’s Office. A murder complaint was issued, and Justice of the Peace Nicola James authorized a warrant for Green’s arrest.
On March 10, 2026, the U.S. Marshals Service Lone Star Fugitive Task Force requested assistance from the Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force to locate Green.
Authorities found Green at a residence in the 1200 block of Lippert Road in Canton, Ohio, where he was taken into custody without incident.
Green is currently awaiting extradition to the Bell County Jail.
