DALLAS, Texas - Dallas Police are investigating a shooting in the Redbird area that left a man in critical condition.
On a Sunday afternoong, March 1, 2026, at around 4:13 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 1800 block of Sedona Lane, near W. Ledbetter Dr. and Highway 67.
Preliminary information indicates the victim was approached by an unknown suspect shortly after receiving a food delivery he did not request.
Investigators were able to obtain ring camera footage from the neighbor across the street. They say that surveillance video shows the suspect walking up to the victim and opening fire before fleeing the scene.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a hospital, where he remains in critical condition.
Police said the suspect left the area in a silver Chevrolet Trax.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 029209-2026.
