One Dead, Two Injured in Road Rage Shooting in the Fair Park Area

DALLAS, Texas - Dallas police are investigating a deadly shooting believed to have stemmed from a road rage incident late Thursday night.

On March 19, 2026, at approximately 11:07 p.m., officers responded to a shooting call in the 4500 block of South Fitzhugh Avenue in the Fair Park area of South Dallas.

When officers arrived, they found three men who had been shot.

Dallas Fire-Rescue transported two of the victims to a local hospital. One is listed in critical condition, while the other suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

The third victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

A fourth individual who was inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting was not injured. That person told investigators the incident appeared to have been triggered by road rage.

Authorities have not released the identities of those involved.

The investigation is ongoing under case number 039044-2026.
