DALLAS, Texas - Dallas Police are investigating a fatal shooting after a man was found dead inside a vehicle early Sunday morning.
Officers responded around 2:55 a.m. on March 22, 2026, to the 2800 block of Lucas Drive, near the Dallas North Tollway and Cedar Springs Road, following reports of a shooting.
When officers arrived, they located a man inside a car suffering from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will work to identify the victim.
Police have not released any suspect information at this time.
The investigation remains ongoing under case number 040317-2026.
