DALLAS, Texas — A 38-year-old man has died following a shooting Saturday night in Southeast Dallas, according to police.
Officers responded around 8:34 p.m. on March 28, 2026, to a shooting call in the 4600 block of St. Francis Avenue in the Buckner Terrace area.
Preliminary investigation determined that the victim, identified as Levett Gilliam, had been shot by unknown suspects.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported Gilliam to a local hospital in critical condition, where he later died from his injuries.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the shooting. No arrests have been announced.
