COPPELL, Texas — Coppell ISD has announced the next application window for its Limited Open Enrollment program, giving eligible out-of-district families a chance to apply for the 2026–27 school year.
The application period will open at 8:30 a.m. on April 27 and close at 4:00 p.m. on May 1, 2026. District officials said decisions will be emailed to applicants no later than May 22.
The program is available to students in kindergarten through 12th grade who live in specific approved neighborhoods outside Coppell ISD boundaries. Officials said available spots will be determined based on campus capacity, enrollment projections, staffing, and other administrative factors.
Families applying are required to submit the following documents:
- A closing document or lease for their current residence
- A utility bill (electric, gas, or water) dated within the past two months
- The student’s attendance record from their current school
District officials noted that incomplete applications may result in applicants losing their place and being moved down the waiting list.
