DALLAS, Texas — Police are investigating the death of a man who was found injured along North Central Expressway and later died at a hospital.
According to the Dallas Police Department, officers responded April 23, 2026, to a local hospital after the man was transported by Dallas Fire-Rescue with an apparent puncture wound.
Preliminary information indicates that around 12:22 a.m., Dallas Fire-Rescue was called to the 5600 block of North Central Expressway in the Glencoe area after a witness reported a man in distress who appeared to be injured.
The man was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
Police said the circumstances and motive surrounding the incident remain unclear, and the case is currently being investigated as an unexplained death.
The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office will determine the cause of death and confirm the man’s identity.
The investigation is ongoing under case number 057976-2026.
