DALLAS, Texas — A man was shot and killed Friday afternoon in southeast Dallas, and a suspect is now in custody, according to the Dallas Police Department.
Officers responded around 5:20 p.m. April 24, 2026, to an assist call in the 3000 block of East Ledbetter Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a man who had been shot. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police said a suspect was taken into custody, though charges are pending as the investigation continues.
The case is being investigated under case number 058392-2026.
