BRIDGEPORT, Texas — A 49-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a 2025 homicide at the Greene Homes complex, according to the Bridgeport Police Department.
William Davis turned himself in early Monday after investigators secured a felony warrant in the death of 61-year-old Kevin McKinnon of Fayetteville, North Carolina.
McKinnon was found dead inside an apartment in Building 2 on September 12, 2025, after family and friends reported not hearing from him for several days.
Detectives determined that Davis and another male suspect assaulted McKinnon in the courtyard outside the building on September 10th. Authorities said the attack was captured on video, which also showed McKinnon entering the apartment afterward and never leaving.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office ruled McKinnon’s death a homicide caused by injuries from the assault.
Davis is charged with second-degree manslaughter and second-degree assault of an elderly person. His bond has been set at $250,000.
