During overnight hours, TxDOT work on the Irving Interchange project from Tuesday, Dec. 6 through Friday, Dec. 9 will affect Irving motorists using Loop 12 and State Highways (SH) 183 and 114, as well as frontage roads and surrounding streets:
TUESDAY, DEC. 6
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: SH 114 westbound frontage road will be closed from Regency Drive to Spur 482.
- 10 p.m. to midnight: All SH 114 eastbound main lanes will be closed from Loop 12 to Spur 482.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 7
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: SH 114 westbound frontage road will be closed from Regency Drive to Spur 482.
- 10 p.m. to midnight: All SH 114 eastbound main lanes will be closed from Loop 12 to Spur 482.
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The Carl Road exit ramp from westbound SH 183 main lanes will be closed. In addition the direct connector from Spur 482 to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
THURSDAY, DEC. 8
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: SH 114 westbound frontage road will be closed from Regency Drive to Spur 482.
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The Maryland Drive exit ramp from eastbound SH 183 main lanes will be closed.
FRIDAY, DEC. 9
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: SH 114 eastbound main lanes will be fully closed from Loop 12 to Spur 482.
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The SH 114 westbound frontage road will be closed from Regency Drive to Spur 482.
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The Carl Road exit ramp from westbound SH 183 main lanes will be closed. In addition the direct connector from Spur 482 to westbound SH 183 will be closed.
- 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.: The Maryland Drive exit ramp from eastbound SH 183 main lanes will be closed.
Signed detours will be in place. Motorists are advised to expect long traffic delays and seek alternate routes when possible.
