Irving Bike Plan Public Meeting Set for April 11

The City of Irving Traffic and Transportation Department and the North Central Texas Council of Governemnts (NCTCOG) are finalizing the city’s Bike Plan for an on-street bicycle network designed for users of all ages and abilities. A final Public Meeting will be held April 11 for residents to review and provide comments to the proposed Bike Plan. An online interactive map also is available to submit comments for those unable to attend the meeting.

The city and NCTCOG have gathered public comments from the first public meeting (June 2022), two Community Stakholder Committee meetings (May 2022 and March 2023), a public survey and an online interactive map to guide in the establishment of the most current draft version of the Bike Plan Network. View the Bike Plan page.

After the final public comment period ends, the City and NCTCOG will finalize the Bike Plan and will present the plan for adoptionto Irving City Council in the summer of 2023.
