Calling all teens and young adults looking to earn extra cash this summer! The City of Irving is hiring lifeguards and other seasonal positions.
Irving Parks and Recreation increased starting pay for a lifeguard to $16.15 an hour. Now hiring ages 15 years and older. Certification fees will be waived during this event.
For those interested in a career in health care or emergency response, lifeguarding is perfect. Lifeguards are first aid, CPR and AED certified. There is a cost for certifications, but scholarships are available.
