A devastating accident occurred on Sunday evening, shortly before 9:00pm, in the 500 block of Farm to Market Road 156 in Haslet, Texas. Multiple emergency responders rushed to the scene in response to a major accident involving a motorcycle.
Upon their arrival, the first responding Tarrant County sheriffs deputies discovered that a motorcyclist had collided with a guardrail. Despite immediate efforts to provide medical assistance, the motorcyclist's injuries were severe, and they were subsequently transported to a Fort Worth hospital. The young motorcyclist, identified as a 21-year-old man from Newark, did not survive and was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
In response to the accident, authorities took action to secure the area and ensure the safety of motorists and pedestrians. Lanes of Farm to Market Road 156 were temporarily closed to traffic between Avondale Haslet Road and Schoolhouse Road to facilitate the investigation conducted by the Tarrant County Sheriff's Office (TCSO).
