On August 15, 2023, Lewisville Police Officers swiftly responded to a report of gunshots in the 1700 block of Bunker Hill Lane. The officers were provided with descriptions of the suspects and their vehicle, leading to a successful resolution of the incident.
Upon arriving at the scene, officers quickly initiated a thorough canvassing of the area. Their efforts paid off when they located the suspect vehicle and executed a stop. The occupants of the vehicle were detained for further investigation.
During the course of the inquiry, officers recovered a .32 caliber revolver. Subsequently, the juvenile suspect who had been driving the vehicle was identified as the individual responsible for discharging rounds into the ground. The juvenile was taken into custody for the offense of Discharge of Firearm in Certain Municipalities.
Following the arrest, the juvenile was later released to Denton County Juvenile Detention, as per legal protocol. In addition to the juvenile's arrest, a passenger in the vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Angel Parada-Carballo of Lewisville, was also arrested. Parada-Carballo faces charges of Public Intoxication and Allowing an Unlicensed Operator to Drive.
