At approximately 4:30 p.m. on October 10, 2023, Little Elm Police officers responded to a call reporting a shooting victim discovered in the 2700 block of Sunlight Drive.
The victim, identified as a juvenile, suffered a non-life-threatening injury to his lower body. Emergency responders swiftly transported him to receive medical care. As of now, the victim is not cooperating with investigators, complicating the efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
Little Elm Police Department officers are actively collaborating with the victim's parents to gather more information crucial to the ongoing investigation. Authorities remain uncertain about the exact location and time of the shooting.
