The Frisco Police Department has arrested a subject for possession of child pornography after receiving an online tip.
The Frisco Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Unit received a CyberTip regarding a subject possibly being in possession of child pornography. Upon further investigation, Detectives obtained an arrest warrant for 36-year-old Kyle Timothy Poff. On December 14, 2023, Poff was arrested at his residence located in the 2700-block of Pine Trail Drive in Little Elm.
Poff is charged with Possession of Child Pornography, which is a 3rd degree felony punishable by two to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. Bond was set at $10,000.
As Poff is a former youth pastor in the Frisco and Arlington areas, Detectives are asking anyone with related information to contact the Frisco Police Department at (972) 292-6010.
