The Temple Police Department (TPD) is currently investigating a shooting incident that occurred on the night of December 23, 2023, resulting in the death of one individual.
At approximately 9:19 p.m., TPD received a dispatch regarding a shot disturbance in the 3900 block of Shallowford West Rd. Officers swiftly responded to the scene and, upon arrival, discovered one individual who had succumbed to gunshot wounds.
The identity of the deceased has not been disclosed, pending notification of the next of kin. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation, and TPD is urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward.
