The suspect in a triple homicide case in Arlington has been located and apprehended in the Greenville, Mississippi area. Larry Dewayne Reed, aged 29, wanted for Capital Murder, was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals and Washington County Sheriff Deputies.
The arrest follows a recent appeal by the U.S. Marshals Service for public assistance in locating Reed, who was considered armed and dangerous.
The murders occurred on January 25, 2024, at the Chatham Green Village Apartments on Chatham Green Ln in Arlington.
Upon responding to a shooting at the apartments, Arlington Police officers discovered the bodies of 29-year-old Shannen Oshay Jones and 29-year-old Monique Elaine Smith. Another victim, a 31-year-old male whose identity remains undisclosed, was transported to the hospital but was pronounced deceased.
