Early Tuesday morning, Fort Worth Police Department responded to a distress call at the junction of North Freeway and Fossil Creek Blvd. Upon arrival at approximately 1:27 a.m., officers discovered a severe collision involving a semi-truck and a motorcycle.
Emergency services, including the Fort Worth Fire Department and MedStar, rushed to the scene to provide medical assistance. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead by medical personnel. The driver of the semi-truck sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment.
As the investigation continues, traffic congestion persists along Northbound Interstate 35 W. at Fossil Creek Blvd. Authorities from the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office are awaiting notification of the deceased's next of kin before releasing their identity.
