On Wednesday, May 8, 2024, at around 11:00 p.m., the Fort Worth Police Department responded to a major accident in the 2700 block of 8th Ave. in Central Fort Worth.
Upon arrival, officers found a collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. The motorcycle rider lost control, leading to the crash. Another motorcyclist was also involved and lost control. Both motorcyclists succumbed to their injuries.
The Traffic Investigation Unit is currently reviewing the details of the incident. The Fort Worth Fire Department provided medical care at the scene.
The Tarrant County Medical Examiner's Office will identify the deceased once their next of kin have been notified.
