A person of interest in an ongoing homicide investigation in Killeen has been captured in the Detroit, Michigan area. Lavon Tyshaun Green had been wanted by Killeen Police since August 5.
At the time of his capture, the department stated that Green had an active felony arrest warrant for aggravated assault. They also indicated that he might have information or be involved in the murder of 19-year-old Keman S. Greenidge, who was found on August 4 at the 400 block of Gemini Lane.
Green was located by the U.S. Marshals-Lone Star Fugitive Task Force.
