On October 9, 2024, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Dallas police officers responded to a shooting in the 3900 block of Polly Street in South Dallas. Upon arrival, officers discovered 18-year-old Keith Leno Jordan inside an apartment, suffering from a gunshot wound. Dallas Fire-Rescue (DFR) also responded, but Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.
