On October 10, 2024, at approximately 8:20 p.m., Dallas police responded to a stabbing in the 2400 block of Coombs Street, located in the Cedars area south of downtown. Upon arrival, officers found a man lying on the ground with a stab wound.
Dallas Fire-Rescue transported the victim to a local hospital, where he was later pronounced dead. The victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
