The Dallas Youth Commission (YC), in partnership with the National Civic League, has launched the 2024 Dallas Youth Survey, a city-wide initiative to gather input from students on issues critical to Dallas youth. The survey aims to collect insights into civic engagement, education, public safety, transportation, recreation, and career goals, providing key data to guide youth-centered programs and policies.
“This is an unprecedented opportunity for students to influence the city’s decisions on youth programs and services,” said Chloe Hawkins, Chair of the Dallas Youth Commission. “We want every student to know that their voice matters, and this survey is a direct way to impact change.”
The YC has set a goal of gathering 5,000 responses by November 30, 2024. The results will be presented at the Dallas Young Leaders Summit, where youth leaders will create actionable plans based on the feedback.
