Woman Shot During Fight Outside FedEx Facility in Fort Worth; Suspect Arrested

A woman was critically injured in a shooting early Friday morning during a fight outside a FedEx building in south Fort Worth.

Fort Worth police responded to reports of a shooting around 4:30 a.m. on Friday, June 20, in the parking lot of the FedEx facility located on Village Creek Road near Highway 287. According to investigators, several women were involved in a physical altercation during a shift change when one of them pulled a gun and fired multiple shots.

One woman was struck in the torso. She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. Her identity has not been released.

The suspected shooter, identified as 22-year-old Gerneicea Fulton of Fort Worth, was arrested and booked into the Tarrant County Jail on Saturday, June 21. She has been charged with Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon. Her bond was set at $50,000.

FedEx released a statement confirming the incident: “We can confirm there was an incident in the parking lot of our Fort Worth facility earlier this morning. The safety and security of our team members is our highest priority, and we are cooperating fully with law enforcement’s investigation. Any further questions should be directed to law enforcement.”

The investigation is ongoing.
