DALLAS, TX - An arrest has been made in the fatal shooting that stemmed from a violent fight at a Dallas strip club on New Year’s Day.
Dallas police confirmed that 24-year-old Dameian Roberson has been arrested in connection with the shooting at the Pink House Club in the 1300 block of Empire Central. Roberson was taken into custody by the United States Marshals Service Task Force and has been charged with murder.
The incident occurred around 3:45 a.m. on January 1, 2026, when officers with the Dallas Police Department responded to reports of a shooting inside the club. Investigators determined that a fight broke out, escalating into gunfire. Multiple people were struck during the chaos.
Five victims were transported to local hospitals for treatment. One of them, 25-year-old Zecqurie Fields, was taken in critical condition. Despite medical efforts, Fields succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead on January 5, 2026, prompting investigators to reclassify the case as a homicide.
Following the shooting, Dallas police detectives from several specialized units worked collaboratively to identify the suspect. The investigation involved reviewing physical evidence, interviewing witnesses, and analyzing surveillance video and digital information gathered from the scene.
