Teen Sentenced to 22 Years in Deadly Stop Six Park Shooting That Claimed Two Lives in Fort Worth

Victims: Cyanna Boone and Frank Price Jr.

FORT WORTH, Texas — A 17-year-old has been sentenced to 22 years in the Texas Juvenile Justice Department after admitting to murder in a shooting at a Fort Worth park that left two people dead, according to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office.

The shooting occurred on Dec. 29, 2025, at Historic Stop Six Park, where police said a group of 15 to 20 individuals had gathered and were involved in a verbal dispute that escalated into a physical altercation. During the confrontation, gunfire erupted, striking multiple victims.

Seventeen-year-old Cyanna Boone, a high school senior, was pronounced dead at the scene. Eighteen-year-old Frank Douglas Price Jr. was found wounded miles away and later died from his injuries.

Authorities said the offender was 16 at the time of the shooting that killed Price. Under the sentence, a judge will later determine whether the individual will be transferred to the Texas Department of Criminal Justice to serve the remainder of the sentence before turning 19.

The case was prosecuted by Assistant District Attorney Stephanie Richardson, with support from district attorney investigator Esther Goodwin. The Fort Worth Police Department conducted the investigation.

Ricco Henderson

An additional suspect, 18-year-old Ricco Henderson, remains charged with murder in connection with the death of Boone. His case is still pending.

Officials said the case remains part of ongoing judicial proceedings.
