FORT WORTH, Texas - Four juveniles are in custody and one adult has been arrested after Fort Worth police investigated reports of a firearm being displayed in a photo taken inside O.D. Wyatt High School.
According to the Fort Worth Police Department, South Division officers responded at approximately 1:58 p.m. Monday, Aug. 10, to O.D. Wyatt High School in the 2400 block of East Seminary Drive following a report of a person with a weapon.

When officers arrived, they learned that a group of five individuals had been observed in a photograph taken inside the school displaying a firearm.
Officers quickly identified and detained those believed to be involved.
Police said four of the individuals are juveniles, all of whom are now in custody. The fifth individual, an adult, was arrested after investigators determined he was in possession of the firearm.
However, authorities said the firearm has not yet been recovered.
Controlled Student Release
As a precaution, school officials implemented a controlled, slow release of students through metal detectors to help ensure the safety of everyone on campus.
Police said the investigation remains active, and additional information will be released as it becomes available.
