Ritter, the specially-trained Irving Police dog, and Irving Police Department child trauma counselor Patricia Guardiola were invited to Uvalde to help witnesses and others impacted by the tragic school shooting.
Canine Companions in Irving trained Ritter, and he serves as a facility dog at the Irving Police Department Family Advocacy Center.
