The Grand Prairie Police Department is investigating a fatal traffic collision that occurred on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, in the 2400 block of SE 14th Street.
At approximately 10:00 p.m., a GMC pickup truck was traveling south on SE 14th Street when the driver struck a female who was observed by witnesses walking in the middle of the roadway. The female was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The identity of the deceased will be released by the Dallas County Medical Examiner’s Office once next of kin have been notified.
No criminal charges are expected to be filed.
This collision remains under investigation.
