On Saturday, May 27, 2023, at approximately 2:00 pm, Cleburne Police Officers responded to the 300 block of Gatrix in reference to a homicide.
A male caller reported that he had shot his wife.
Upon arrival Officers located a deceased elderly female and a male who was still alive with what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The man was transported by ambulance to Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth in critical condition.
This remains under investigation by the Cleburne Police Department.
