Dallas Police Arrest Four Teens for Series of Aggravated Robberies

The Dallas Police Department Robbery Unit has been investigating string of aggravated robberies of individuals and businesses that happened in May of 2023.

On May 31, 2023, search and arrest warrants were executed by the Fugitive Unit, assisted by the Northwest and North Central Crime Response Teams.

The warrant execution resulted in the arrest of five individuals, four related to the robbery offenses and one for an unrelated weapons violation. Handguns and one rifle were also seized by police.

The following arrests were made:

  • 15-year-old male

  • 16-year-old male
    • Two counts Aggravated Robbery -Business
    • Aggravated Robbery -Individual
    • Two counts Robbery -Business
    • Robbery -Individual
  • 16-year-old male
    • Aggravated Robbery -Individual
    • Two counts Robbery -Business
    • Robbery -Individual
  • 16-year-old male
    • Three counts Robbery -Business
    • Robbery -Individual
  • Laquavious McMath, 24, Unlawful Carry of a Weapon (arrested on warrant)

  • May 3, 2023 at 8:15 PM Aggravated Robbery -Individual – 2600 block of Throckmorton Street
  • May 7, 2023 at 5:57 PM Aggravated Robbery -Business – 4000 block of Cedar Springs Road
  • May 15, 2023 at 12:15 PM Aggravated Robbery -Business – 3400 block of Oak Lawn Avenue
  • May 18, 2023 at 12:30 PM Aggravated Robbery -Individual – 4100 block of Cedar Springs Road
  • May 28, 2023 at 3:30 PM Aggravated Robbery -Individual – 4300 block of Brown Stret
  • May 28, 2023 at 3:50 PM Aggravated Robbery -Business – 3400 block of Oak Lawn Avenue
  • May 28, 2023 at 4:02 PM Aggravated Robbery -Business – 4400 block of Lemmon Avenue
